Amplify Announces New Local Community Groups
Published: September 18, 2018
Amplify, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underrepresented voices in the Salesforce.org ecosystem, has announced the creation of in-person community groups across the country. The success of this initiative was driven entirely by members and embodies the empowerment and collaboration Amplify strives to achieve with its membership. Less than a year ago, members in Oakland introduced themselves to each other at the Amplify breakfast held annually each Dreamforce and determined to meet in person on a regular basis. Inspired by their success, other members followed suit, creating community meetups in Austin, Los Angeles, and Boston. The purpose of these groups is to support and share knowledge among the members, and they often invite allies and partners to join them in their efforts. Users in these areas can connect with their local organizers on the Power of Us Hub, where they can learn more about in-person events and ways to support their community.
Since 2012, Amplify has empowered underrepresented voices, and those amazing partners and accomplices who support them, to be fearless leaders in the Salesforce.org ecosystem.
